St. Josephs, Rush, Co.Dublin.
I acted as the Artist in Residence for St. Josephs secondary School in Rush North County Dublin for 2012 to 2013 on behalf of Fingal County Council. This involved a weekly engagement with sixteen 5th year students aged aproximately 16 years old. I created a curriculum of workshops that exceded the schools existing one whilst also complimenting it. The idea was to give the students a chance to work with a contemporary practicing Artist and engage in a practice that was free from examinations and was beyond the practice afforded by the existing curriculum. The engagement included field trips and was a resounding success culminating in the installation of a permanent photographic piece created together with the students in the school building.
