Cóilín Rush 

I acted as the Artist in Residence in the Arthouse in Stradbally Co. Laois from 2012 to 2013 on behalf of Laois County Council. I liased with three different community groups on a weekly basis conducting year long projects. The documented images included are from my engagement with the Cultúrbug art group with whom we engaged in all artistic disciplines and finally created a finished piece based on sculpture workshops we engaged in. In the end we decided that we had unbeknownst to ourselves recreated the profile of the towns central monument to a significant historical event all be it by a completely different means. Other projects included a video engagement with the youth theatre group and a weekly engagement with an oil painting group.
